How to act if your best friend got the dress you wanted?

i saw this dress (and showed it to her) and i absolutely loved it. it was seriously like the perfect dress and she knew i freaking loved that dress. but my mom wouldn't get it for me because she thought it was too revealing and to adult for me. ): my friend also loved the dress, but today i asked her what dress she got (for the cruise were going on, we need too) and she told me the one dress that she got, but not the other. and she told me that she ordered it. i'm guessing she got the dress that i have been wanting for like forever. and to make it worse, i'm not very happy with the two dresses i got for the cruise, i just sort of bought them and called it a day. i'm not sure she got this dress, but if she did, how should i act?
