Rat Question, Please HELP! D:?

I just got a rat today, and he soiled the box he was in from the petstore, so he had feces on him.. so when I got home I got my bunny shampoo and washed him in the sink.. since then he's been sneezing every so often like little sprinkles of wetness, I'm worried I got water in his nose... will he be okay? D: someone please help. he's perfect and I don't want anything to happen to him ♥
