Question about feeding my hamster?

My hamster has a huge bowl, which came in his cage when bought. He can practically sit in his bowl and eat. Well anyways, I give him three spoon fulls of hamster feed and treats (2 Yogurt Drops, 3 Peanuts, a sprinkle of pumpkin seeds and pita, 5 veggie puffs (for hamsters), and a sprinkle of mixed treats in a small bag that I bought. He loves it! Every morning his bowl is completely empty. Is this normal for him to eat this much? Am I over feeding him?
