Can anyone honestly read Revelations and think it pertains to real life?

The 22 chapters of the Book of Revelation is based upon the 22 Trump cards of the Tarot deck. Written by someone who was into astrology and wacked out on hallucinogenic plants. For instance when the "Angel" gives him the scroll that tastes like honey that makes his belly bitter, he's eating an Amanita muscaria mushroom which tastes like honey and will make you sick to your stomach.
